Mitigation Measure <br />• General Watering: The <br />construction contractor shall <br />control fugitive dust emissions <br />during land clearing, grubbing, <br />scraping, excavation, land <br />leveling, grading, cut and fill, <br />j and demolition activities by <br />j watering the construction site a <br />minimum of two times daily <br />when soil conditions are dry. <br />• Dirt Hauls: When materials are <br />transported offsite, the <br />! construction contractor shall <br />i <br />ensure that all material is <br />covered or effectively wetted to <br />limit visible dust emissions, and <br />i at least 24 inches of freeboard <br />space from the top of <br />containers shall be maintained. <br />• Dirt Carryout/Trackout: The <br />jconstruction contractor shall <br />install and maintain an <br />approved carryout and trackout 1 <br />! prevention procedure (e.g., <br />grisslies, gravel pads, paved <br />interior roads) at the <br />i construction ingress/egress. <br />The construction contractor <br />shall remove mud or dirt that <br />has accumulated on adjacent <br />public streets at the end of <br />each workday.
