Mitigation Measure <br />properly service and maintain all <br />construction equipment in accordance <br />! with the manufacturer's <br />i recommendations. <br />dusters. <br />The following mitigation will be <br />required: <br />• Building doors shall be closed when <br />not receiving materials. <br />i • Loaded transfer vehicles shall be <br />covered and properly maintained to <br />ensure that both liquid and solid <br />waste materials are contained <br />I <br />entirely within the vehicle for the <br />duration of its transport. <br />• Routine cleaning of floors, walls, and <br />equipment shall be conducted per <br />the requirements of CCR Title 27. <br />• Odor complaints received by the City, <br />County of San Joaquin <br />Environmental Health Department <br />(acting as the Local Enforcement <br />j Agency (LEA) for the State of <br />California) or the SJVAPCD shall be <br />responded to within 24 hours. This <br />response shall include an inquiry into <br />the source of the odor and <br />identification of the measures <br />necessary to eliminate the odor <br />I source. If excessive complaints are <br />received, as defined by the LEA, <br />additional measures shall be <br />implemented to control odors. <br />Additional measures may include, <br />but are not limited to: <br />j o install plastic curtains <br />on entrances and exits <br />to contain odors when <br />doors are opened to <br />allow vehicles to enter <br />and exit; <br />o use of deodorants to <br />mask or neutralize <br />odors as needed; <br />o daily removal of waste <br />from tipping floor to <br />allow for daily <br />washing/cleaning. <br />• The operator maintains an Odor <br />Method of Verification <br />Implementing ' Timing of <br />Party Verification <br />Monitoring Party <br />0 Conditions of Approval -14- PA -0800005 <br />
