PA -0800005 <br />PROPONENT: Tracy Material Recovery, Inc. <br />PROJECT LOCATION:. The project site is located .on the west side of S. MacArthur Drive (APN/Address: <br />253-130-19, 26; 30703'S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy) (Supervisorial District 5) <br />REVISED PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Use Permit application for the expansion of an existing solid waste <br />processing and recycling facility from 39.2 acres to 51.7 acres in two phases over twenty years with a <br />maximum of 1,727 vehicles per day at final build out. Phase 1 to increase the daily waste capacity from <br />1,000 (tpd) to 1,800 (tpd) within ten years'and Phase 2 to increase the daily waste capacity from 1,800 (tpd) <br />to 2,500 (tpd) within twenty years. The project will employ 160 persons and operate 24 hours a day seven (7) <br />days a week. All outdoor processing activities will not begin before 6:00 a.m. and will not operate after 10:00 <br />....._..p..m..on. site activities to include vehicle maintenance, .equipment storage. and truck..parking, construction and <br />demolition of inert debris (cdi), processing wood waste grindings, appliance recycling, and associated waste <br />'handling activites. Proposed site improvements will include: (1) The addition of 19,200 square feet to the <br />existing 57,200 square foot material recovery facility and transfer station building. (2) Addition of 10,500 <br />square feet to the existing maintenance and administration building. (3) Construction of a one (1) mega -watt <br />wood waste bio -mass gasification unit for on-site energy use only.
