MacArthur Drive, Tracy, CA <br />Assessor Parcel No: 253-130-19.26 <br />Current Site Conditions: Existing Solid Waste Facility <br />POTENTIAL POPULATION, NUMBER OF DWELLING UNITS, OR <br />SQUARE FOOTAGE OF.l.1SE(S): One single family residence <br />Description of Project: <br />General Plan: A/G <br />Zoning: AG -40 <br />Acres: 51.7 <br />Use permit application for the expansion of an existing solid waste processing and recycling facility from 39.2 <br />acres to 51.7 acres in two phases over twenty years with a maximum of 1,727 vehicles per day at final build out. <br />Phase One to increase.the daily waster capacity from 1,000 (TPD) to 1,800 (TPD) within ten years and Phase Two <br />to increase the daily waste capacity 66m 1,800 (TPD) to 2,500 (TPD) within twenty years. The project will employ <br />160 persons and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All outdoor processing activities will not begin before <br />6:00 am and will not operate after 10:00 pm on site activities to Include vehicle maintenance, equipment storage <br />and truck parking, construction and demolition of inert debris (CDI), processing wood waste grindirigs, appliance <br />recycling and associated waste handling activities. Proposed site improvements will include: <br />The addition of 19,200 square feet to theexisting .57,200 square.foot material recovery -facility and transfer <br />station building. <br />f. (2) Addition of 10,500 square feet to the existing maintenance and administration building. <br />(3) Construction of a one (1) megawatt wood waste bio -mass gasification unit for on-site energy use only. <br />The project site is not under a Williamson Act Contract. (Use Type: Major Impact Services) The project site is <br />located on the west side of S. Macarthu*r Drive, 1.1 miles south of Unne Road in Tracy. (APN/Address: 253-130-19 <br />& 26; 30703 S. Macarthur Drive, Tracy) <br />Surrounding Land Uses and ,Setting: <br />Aggregate mining and production occurs on parcels to the north and west. <br />Active agriculture exists on parcels to the south and east. <br />Other public agencies whose approval is required: <br />CaiRecycle, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br />
