The operator of an attended operation shall implement a loadchecking program to prevent the acceptance <br /> of prohibited waste. <br /> 2. The program must include: (1)the number of loadchecks to be performed, (2)a location for the storage <br /> of prohibited wastes removed during the loadchecking process that is separately secured or isolated,and <br /> (3)records of loadchecks and the training of personnel in the recognition, proper handling, and disposition <br /> of prohibited waste. <br /> 3. Implement a loadchecking program which must include the above mentioned elements. <br /> X 17410.4-Vector, Bird and Animal Control <br /> Comments: Facility did not have any fly traps or rodent bait stations on site. The transfer station building itself <br /> has access points but no means of closing off these access points during non-operation. A fly nuisance was <br /> observed during the inspection. No rodents were observed. <br /> 1. The operator shall take adequate steps to control or prevent the propagation, harborage, and attraction of <br /> flies, rodents, or other vectors. <br /> 2. Implement fly traps and rodent bait stations on site. <br /> 3. Either: (1)close off the building during non-operation, (2)containerize the remaining on site bakery waste <br /> over night, or(3)implement an extensive vector control program which includes daily logging/tracking <br /> of the effectiveness of the traps. <br /> x 17408.7-Personnel Health and Safety <br /> Comments:There was no Injury, Illness, and Prevention Program (IIPP)document on site. <br /> 1. The IIPP shall be available for review by local and state inspectors during normal business hours. <br /> 2. Create an IIPP and have it available on site during normal business hours. <br />
