• Vector control procedures for storage of wastes <br /> As mentioned above, food processing residues will be fed out within 24 <br /> hours after receipt. By keeping the delivery pad free of any old residues, <br /> fly breeding will be controlled. The residues do not typically have a great <br /> deal of free liquid, but if free liquid is detected, the operator will blend the <br /> residue with other "dry" feed commodities. Any food processing residue, <br /> either on the pad or in the mangers, that becomes inedible and where fly <br /> breeding is detected, will be physically removed, spread on fallow fields <br /> and disced into the soil. <br /> Page 3 <br />
