Response: This comment is noted. 5. Please provide the landscape calculations(amount removed, amount remaining, 20%requirement) on the Landscape Plan. Response: The Preliminary Landscape Plan has been revised to provide the above-noted landscape calculations and requirements. The revised Plan is included with this resubmittal. 6. Please update the Landscape Plan legend to match the tree symbols on the plan. Response: The Legend on the Preliminary Landscape Plan has been revised to match the tree symbols on the Landscape Plan. The revised Plan is included with this resubmittal. 7. We suggest replanting the removed trees at the queue entrance. Response: Costco's Landscape Architect recommends that the trees be removed and replaced in order to provide a higher chance for tree survival. New trees are grown in a nursery where the root balls are root pruned to provide more opportunity for the trees to survive once planted in the ground, as opposed to transplanted trees where root pruning does not occur. Therefore, the Preliminary Landscape Plan continues to show the trees at the queue entrance to be removed and replaced in accordance with City standards. 8. The landscape planter west of the fuel facility must be restored to comply with the initially approved Landscape Plan. Please revised the Landscape Plan accordingly. Response: The Preliminary Landscape Plan has been revised to update the western landscape planter consistent with the initially approved Landscape Plan for the Costco site. The revised Plan is included with this resubmittal. 9. Please provide a tree next to the Healy Clean Air Separator. Response: The project scope has been revised to include an ARID Permeator in lieu of a Healy Clean Air Separator, consistent with recently adopted California Air Resource Board (CARB)
