Soil Removed Approximately 3 cubic yards - See Drawing "B: <br /> C. Excavation History: On January 30, 1989 Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc. removed <br /> 1 - 10,000 gallon tank and the relateq plumbing. The plumbing ran from . , <br /> the south end of the tank westward under the railroad tracks to the old <br /> Boiler Building. The railroad tracks are betweenthe tank excavation and <br /> the old Boiler Building. See drawing "A" for layout of former tank and <br /> piping. <br /> The analyses of the two samples taken from the tank excavation were <br /> ND fcr BTX & E and TEPH. The sample marked #3 was taken from the trench <br /> that is approximately 2 feet wide by 18 feet long where the limes ran <br /> under the railroad tracks, at a depth of approximately 2 feet beneath the <br /> railroad tracks. The results for BTX & E were ND, but the results on TEPH <br /> were 87. mg/kg. See Drawing "B" for layout of results. <br /> 4.
