22 June 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 01-0839 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> Selected soil samples from each boring will be submitted for laboratory analysis with concurrence <br /> of the PHS-EHD The selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of <br /> Health Services (DHS)-certified analytical laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • TPH-g by EPA Method 5030/8015 Modified, <br /> • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • Fuel oxygenates including MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE and TAME by EPA Method 8260M <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 3 3 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water samples will be collected from the deep soil boring using a disposable plastic bailer <br /> Samples will be collected into 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials containing 0 5 ml <br /> hydrochloric acid as sample preservative Ground water sample collection procedures are presented <br /> in Section 4 2 Ground water samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for <br /> • TPH-g by EPA Methods 5030/8015 Modified, <br /> • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 602, <br /> • MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE and TAME by EPA Method 8260M <br /> The laboratory report for the ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality <br /> assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be <br /> presented in a report with the findings and recommendations <br /> 34 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results of the sampling and analysis Conclusions, recommendations, maps and <br /> cross-sections will be included in the report The report will be in a format acceptable to the <br /> PHS-EHD and the CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered <br /> Geologist <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmenfal,Inc <br />
