1 <br /> l [11111 d#749 50 ]ihr,I mnoa)rnfnral <br /> RLint,(IT A ILIS1011€tN ILI[ Rclxn€ '2 ) 201), <br /> ' line between ASW-1 and the pressure release bleed valve to measure the total airflow pressure into <br /> ASW-1 Relevant well construction details for the remedial test wells and lateral monitoring point wells <br /> tare listed in Table 3 <br /> The AS test lasted approximately 5 25 hours and was conducted in six separate pressure/flowrate steps <br /> X11 <br /> The test began with the pressure releaseibleed valve on the air infection line fully open, thus applying a <br /> ' slight pressure to ASW-I (approximately 2 5 psi) After baseline readings were collected, the pressure <br /> release/bleed valve was closed incrementally, creating a higher pressure into ASW-1 Approximately <br /> t10 99 feet of hydrostatic head had to be overcome with the test equipment in order to force pressurized <br /> air into the aquifer through the test well screen interval Given that I psi equates to approximately 27 7 <br /> ' inches of water, the minimum pressure estimated to force air to the top of the ASW-1 screen interval was <br /> calculated at approximately 4 76 psi <br /> ' 4 13 Air Sparge Test Data Anal sis <br /> ' The AS test equipment generated a maximum air flow rate of approximately 16 cfm with a <br /> corresponding input air pressure of approximately 7 5 psi, At periodic intervals during the AS test, the <br /> pressure and flow rate into ASW-1, and the induced pressure response in the lateral monitoring point <br /> wells, were monitored and recorded on a field data sheet The AS test field data sheet has been <br /> reproduced as Table 4 Of the six monitoring point wells utilized during the AS test, five of the wells <br /> exhibited an induced pressure response Monitoring point wells MW-IC (38 feet from ASW-1), MW-2C <br /> ' (83 feet from ASW-1), MW-3B (18 feet from ASW-1), MW-4B (35 feet from ASW-1), and MW-913 (80 <br /> feet from ASW-1) exhibited maximum pressure readings (measured in inches of water column) of 0 31 <br /> inches, 0 07 inches, 4 00 inches, 168 inches, and 0 30 inches, respectively (Table 4) Monitoring point <br /> ' well MW-3C (37 feet from ASW-1) did not display any significant pressure response It should be <br /> noted, however, that the top of the screen interval in the "C" monitoring wells are below the current <br /> ' groundwater level <br /> ' In-situ dissolved oxygen readings collected from the groundwater in the lateral monitoring point wells <br /> (MW-3B, MW-3C, and MW-4B) immediately before and after the AS test indicated an increase in <br /> ' dissolved oxygen readings These three wells demonstrated an increase in dissolved oxygen <br /> ' 9 <br />
