Based on review of aerial photographs from 1993 to 2017,there
appear to be no apparent changes. Historical aerial photographs are provided in Appendix B.
1.3 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
1.3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
Condor performed a search of the EHD website for records pertaining to existing septic tanks and found
that currently there are two existing septic tanks onsite. According to historical permits, a functioning
4,500-gallon septic tank was installed in the western portion of the property in March 1971 and a 2,400-
gallon septic tank located at the northeastern portion of the property was installed in 1977 (see Table 1,
below).
1.3.2 Site Septic Permit History
Table 1
Site Septic Permit History for Address 14600 Austin Rd.,Manteca,CA
Leach
Tank Size Leach Line Seepage
Date Permit# Type Line Pits/Sumps
(Gallons) Quantity Length Quantity/Size
(Feet)
1970 70-118 Leach Lines -- 3 100 each Add to Existiniz
1971 71-239 Septic Tank 4,500 7 100 each 5'x5'x24'
1973 73-982 Leach Lines -- 3 100 each Add to Existing
1977 77-430 Septic Tank 2,400 1 100 each 5'x16'
1.3.3 On-Site Septic Tank Repair History
There were no on-site repair permits found for this address although two separate leach line additions are
on record (see Table 1 above).
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in The General Area
To assess septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, Google Maps aerial photos were reviewed to
gauge residencies and agricultural land use. There are dozens of buildings/residencies within 0.5 miles of
the Site and it is assumed that at each building has at least one septic system. Refer to Section 1.3.5 for a
description of septic tanks in the general area.
1.3.5 General Area Septic Permit History
Table 2, on the following page presents a summary of septic permits available on the EHD website for
properties adjacent to the Site.
Nkis
;1 CONDOR
