ADVANCED BIOFUELS <br /> COMMUNITY <br /> F U E L S " <br /> Plant Manager <br /> The Plant Manager is responsible for the operation of Community Fuels ' Stockton facility. The <br /> position requires overall site accountability including, but not limited to, manufacturing, <br /> maintenance, engineering, quality control, inventory and receiving. All plant operations must <br /> occur within defined health, safety, environmental, security, and compliance requirements . <br /> Summary of Responsibilities : <br /> • Responsible for overall plant compliance including all areas of environmental, health and <br /> safety. The Plant Manager must work collaboratively with the Environmental, Health and <br /> Safety Manager to ensure the Company is compliant with all applicable laws, rules and <br /> regulations . <br /> • Responsible for overall operations of Stockton bio - refinery, laboratory and fuel terminal <br /> and ensuring manufacturing objectives are met. <br /> • Primary work location is at the plant at the Port of Stockton . Must be on - site at facility <br /> during primary working hours and be available for on - call emergencies 24 x 7 . <br /> • Responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in compliance with the company' s <br /> standards, policies and practices . <br /> • Must continuously identify short- and long- term opportunities to increase the efficiency <br /> and profitability of the plant. <br /> • Supervise the full staff at the plant and provide direction to plant management team which <br /> may include Laboratory Manager, Procurement & Logistics Manager, Production Manager, <br /> Plant Engineer, and Maintenance Team. <br /> • Leadership and organizational skills are critical and must cultivate a professional, <br /> collaborative and supportive work environment for all employees and contractors . <br /> • Must lead and manage new construction projects to expand and enhance the facility. This <br /> will involve analyzing and determining the most critical needs and then selecting and <br /> working with engineers, contractors and construction teams to complete the projects . <br /> • Must be an exceptional problem solver who can be hands - on and resolve technical issues <br /> with production and be creative to resolve issues in the fastest and most cost- efficient <br /> manner. <br /> • Determine optimal staffing model and identify and evaluate candidates and make <br /> recommendations for new hires and/ or terminations . Also , must develop detailed <br /> knowledge of all plant operations in order to train and direct staff. <br /> • Must be enthusiastic about assuming additional duties and responsibilities as required <br /> based upon business needs .
