ADVANCED BIOFUELS COMMUNITY F U E L S " Plant Manager The Plant Manager is responsible for the operation of Community Fuels ' Stockton facility. The position requires overall site accountability including, but not limited to, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, quality control, inventory and receiving. All plant operations must occur within defined health, safety, environmental, security, and compliance requirements . Summary of Responsibilities : • Responsible for overall plant compliance including all areas of environmental, health and safety. The Plant Manager must work collaboratively with the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to ensure the Company is compliant with all applicable laws, rules and regulations . • Responsible for overall operations of Stockton bio - refinery, laboratory and fuel terminal and ensuring manufacturing objectives are met. • Primary work location is at the plant at the Port of Stockton . Must be on - site at facility during primary working hours and be available for on - call emergencies 24 x 7 . • Responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in compliance with the company' s standards, policies and practices . • Must continuously identify short- and long- term opportunities to increase the efficiency and profitability of the plant. • Supervise the full staff at the plant and provide direction to plant management team which may include Laboratory Manager, Procurement & Logistics Manager, Production Manager, Plant Engineer, and Maintenance Team. • Leadership and organizational skills are critical and must cultivate a professional, collaborative and supportive work environment for all employees and contractors . • Must lead and manage new construction projects to expand and enhance the facility. This will involve analyzing and determining the most critical needs and then selecting and working with engineers, contractors and construction teams to complete the projects . • Must be an exceptional problem solver who can be hands - on and resolve technical issues with production and be creative to resolve issues in the fastest and most cost- efficient manner. • Determine optimal staffing model and identify and evaluate candidates and make recommendations for new hires and/ or terminations . Also , must develop detailed knowledge of all plant operations in order to train and direct staff. • Must be enthusiastic about assuming additional duties and responsibilities as required based upon business needs . (We want togrow the business and need team members enthusiastic about growth and expansion) • Provide leadership in health, safety, environmental, and security compliance and ensure all Stockton - based employees adhere to all company policies and procedures .
