• Responsible for overall budget planning and direction of the manufacturing functions <br /> within the Stockton facility. Direct production of products in conformance with inventory <br /> requirements and forecasted sales . <br /> • Ensures reliability of operations through implementation and enforcement of policies and <br /> procedures . Develops and implements metrics to monitor, report, and improve <br /> performance . <br /> • Must be responsible for labor relations to improve employee performance through <br /> training, communication, evaluation, coaching and empowerment. Must also ensure that <br /> work time is properly tracked and reported in compliance with all applicable rules and <br /> regulations . <br /> • Responsible for raw inaterial usage, utility usage and efficiency, operating supplies and <br /> labor spending. <br /> • Overall coordination and planning for plant maintenance . <br /> • Implement improvements to processes , plant equipment, operating procedures , facilities, <br /> etc . to improve safety, quality, efficiency, reduce spending and improve all areas of <br /> regulatory compliance . <br /> • Responsible for maintenance and plant housekeeping in order to ensure a clean and safe <br /> working environment. <br /> • Must host a variety of plant tours and inspections . Must develop strong, positive and <br /> productive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders . <br /> • Must maintain current knowledge on industry trends and must work continuously to <br /> develop Community Fuels into a best4n - class, showcase facility. <br /> Education and Qualifications <br /> 1 . Must have experience leading manufacturing teams and must have hands - on experience <br /> with similar industrial operations . <br /> 2 . Must have bachelor' s degree in engineering or chemistry, or must have experience as plant <br /> manager at a biodiesel facility plant with annual capacity of 10 million gallons per year or <br /> more . <br /> 3 . Must have strong mechanical and technical knowledge relevant to bio - refinery operations . <br /> 4. Biodiesel industry experience is preferred, but not required if have relevant experience in <br /> related fields such as specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, or similar industrial <br /> manufacturing industries . <br />
