OAADVANCED BIOFUELS <br /> COMMUNITY <br /> F U E L S <br /> Assistant Plant Manager/ Engineer <br /> The Assistant Plant Manager/ Engineer (APME) , taking direction from the Plant Manager, is <br /> responsible for the day to day operation of Community Fuels ' Stockton facility. This position, in <br /> the absence of the Plant Manager, requires overall site accountability including, but not limited to, <br /> manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, quality control, inventory and receiving. All plant <br /> operations must occur within defined health, safety, environmental , security, and compliance <br /> requirements . <br /> Summary of Responsibilities : <br /> • In the absence of and/ or takes direction from and assisting the Plant Manager with . <br /> o Ensuring overall plant compliance including all areas of environmental, health and <br /> safety. The APME must work collaboratively with the Environmental , Health and <br /> Safety Manager to ensure the Company is compliant with all applicable laws, rules <br /> and regulations . <br /> o Ensuring the most efficient and safe operations are performed at the Stockton bio - <br /> refinery, laboratory and fuel terminal and ensuring manufacturing objectives are <br /> met. <br /> o To ensure products are manufactured in compliance with the company' s standards, <br /> policies and practices . <br /> o To continuously identify short- and long- term opportunities to increase the <br /> efficiency and profitability of the plant. <br /> o To assist in supervising the full staff at the plant and provide direction to plant <br /> management team which may include Laboratory Manager, Procurement & <br /> Logistics Manager, Production Manager, Plant Engineer, and Maintenance Team . <br /> o To help provide leadership and organizational skills helping to cultivate a <br /> professional, collaborative and supportive work environment for all employees and <br /> i <br /> contractors . <br /> o Assist in the overall budget planning and direction of the manufacturing functions <br /> within the Stockton facility. Direct production of products in conformance with <br /> inventory requirements and forecasted sales . <br /> o Assist in determining determine optimal staffing model and identify and evaluate <br /> candidates and make recommendations for new hires and/ or terminations . Also , <br /> must develop detailed knowledge of all plant operations in order to train and direct <br /> staff. <br /> o Assist in reliability of operations through implementation and enforcement of <br /> policies and procedures . Develops and implements metrics to monitor, report, and <br /> improve performance . <br /> o Assist with the development and implementing improvements to processes, plant <br /> equipment, operating procedures, facilities, etc . to improve safety, quality, and <br /> efficiency, reduce spending and improve all areas of regulatory compliance . <br />
