o Assist with labor relations to improve employee performance through training, <br /> communication, evaluation, coaching and empowerment. Must also ensure that <br /> work time is properly tracked and reported in compliance with all applicable rules <br /> and regulations . <br /> o Assist in monitoring raw material usage, utility usage and efficiency, operating <br /> supplies and labor spending. <br /> o Assist in providing leadership in health, safety, environmental, and security <br /> compliance and ensure all Stockton -based employees adhere to all company policies <br /> and procedures . <br /> • Assist in the management of new construction projects to expand and enhance the facility. '.. <br /> This will involve analyzing and determining the most critical needs and then selecting and <br /> working with engineers, contractors and construction teams to complete the projects . <br /> • Responsible for the overall coordination and planning of maintenance and plant <br /> housekeeping in order to ensure a clean and safe working environment. <br /> • Primary work location is at the plant at the Port of Stockton . Must be on - site at facility <br /> during primary working hours and be available for on - call emergencies 24 x 7 . <br /> • Must be an exceptional problem solver who can be hands - on and resolve technical issues <br /> with production and be creative to resolve issues in the fastest and most cost- efficient <br /> manner. <br /> • Must be enthusiastic about assuming additional duties and responsibilities as required <br /> based upon business needs . (We want to grow the business and need team members <br /> enthusiastic about growth and expansion) <br /> • Must maintain current knowledge on industry trends and must work continuously to <br /> develop Community Fuels into a best-in - class, showcase facility. <br /> Education and Qualifications <br /> • Must have experience leading manufacturing teams and must have hands - on experience <br /> with similar industrial operations . ( Biodiesel experience a definite plus .) <br /> • Must have bachelor' s degree in engineering (e . g. chemical and/or mechanical) , and must <br /> have experience in managing personnel in a chemical and/ or refinery industry, preferably <br /> biodiesel . <br /> • Must have strong mechanical and technical knowledge relevant to bio - refinery operations . <br /> • Biodiesel industry experience is preferred, but not required if have relevant experience in <br /> related fields such as specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, or similar industrial <br /> manufacturing industries . <br /> • Ability to work on your feet for up to 12 hours at a time . <br /> • Ability to lift 50lbs frequently. <br /> • Ability to pass and maintain qualifications in the site respirator program. <br /> • Ability to obtain and maintain a "TWIC " card. <br /> • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check. <br />
