o Assist with labor relations to improve employee performance through training, communication, evaluation, coaching and empowerment. Must also ensure that work time is properly tracked and reported in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations . o Assist in monitoring raw material usage, utility usage and efficiency, operating supplies and labor spending. o Assist in providing leadership in health, safety, environmental, and security compliance and ensure all Stockton -based employees adhere to all company policies and procedures . • Assist in the management of new construction projects to expand and enhance the facility. '.. This will involve analyzing and determining the most critical needs and then selecting and working with engineers, contractors and construction teams to complete the projects . • Responsible for the overall coordination and planning of maintenance and plant housekeeping in order to ensure a clean and safe working environment. • Primary work location is at the plant at the Port of Stockton . Must be on - site at facility during primary working hours and be available for on - call emergencies 24 x 7 . • Must be an exceptional problem solver who can be hands - on and resolve technical issues with production and be creative to resolve issues in the fastest and most cost- efficient manner. • Must be enthusiastic about assuming additional duties and responsibilities as required based upon business needs . (We want to grow the business and need team members enthusiastic about growth and expansion) • Must maintain current knowledge on industry trends and must work continuously to develop Community Fuels into a best-in - class, showcase facility. Education and Qualifications • Must have experience leading manufacturing teams and must have hands - on experience with similar industrial operations . ( Biodiesel experience a definite plus .) • Must have bachelor' s degree in engineering (e . g. chemical and/or mechanical) , and must have experience in managing personnel in a chemical and/ or refinery industry, preferably biodiesel . • Must have strong mechanical and technical knowledge relevant to bio - refinery operations . • Biodiesel industry experience is preferred, but not required if have relevant experience in related fields such as specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, or similar industrial manufacturing industries . • Ability to work on your feet for up to 12 hours at a time . • Ability to lift 50lbs frequently. • Ability to pass and maintain qualifications in the site respirator program. • Ability to obtain and maintain a "TWIC " card. • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
