04 ADVANCED BIOFUELS <br /> COMMUNITY <br /> F U E L 5 '" <br /> Plant Operators <br /> The plant operator is responsible for the proper operation of the Community Fuels biodiesel <br /> facility in Stockton , Ca . during his or her assigned work shift . This includes directing and /or <br /> performing process tasks and material transfers per SOP' s while keeping within the defined <br /> security, health , safety, environmental compliance requirements . <br /> Summary of Responsibilities . <br /> Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following : <br /> • Take direction from the Production Manager . <br /> • Monitor all plant production and process equipment to ensure optimal and efficient <br /> level of production during designated production shift . <br /> • Ensure all process tasks are performed in accordance with appropriate company SOP' s, <br /> while following strict safety and quality standards . <br /> • Keep all process, storage tank, and loading/ unloading areas ( includes Truck Terminal ) <br /> clean of debris and/or process material . <br /> • Ensure all necessary paperwork and any other communications are received before <br /> performing any transfers . <br /> • Direct the Assistant Operator and any temporary employees in all loading/unloading of <br /> trucks and railcars and terminal transfers . <br /> • Collect and maintain all necessary process data , as directed , for material tracking . <br /> • Provide clear communication to the Assistant Operator and/or temporary employees on <br /> any tasks that are to be performed . <br /> • Identifying any process issues, and take the appropriate corrective actions to maintain <br /> proper plant operations . <br /> • Report any and incidents that occur at the Stockton facility during your production shift . <br /> This includes security issues, spills, personnel accidents, etc . . . . <br /> • Perform and /or assist in the maintenance, repair, or installation of process equipment, <br /> as necessary . <br /> • Provide mentoring to the Assistant Operators and temporary employees . <br /> • Adhere to all company policies in accordance with the Community Fuels " Employee <br /> Handbook" . <br /> • Multi -task and set job priorities as they pertain to production schedules, as necessary . <br /> • Assist vendors, contractors, and any other visitors, as directed . <br /> • Cross train in order to fill in for vacations and/or job vacancies, as necessary . <br /> AMLRICAN BIODIESEL , INc 760.942.9306 Tel * 760.941.6696 Fax • PO Box 23-4249 * Encinitas , CA 92023 www.communityfuels.com <br />
