4.3 Analytical Results of Soil Samples
' A total of thirty soil samples were analyzed for TPH as gasoline and BTE&X by Pan-Ag
TPH as gasoline was detected at concentrations as great as 6,200 ppm (B2-20 and B2-40)
No TPH as gas was detected in samples from B1, 133, B6, MW-1 or MW-2 Benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene were detected at concentrations as great as 70 ppm (B2-
40), 630 ppm (132-20), 240 ppm (112-20) and 1,120 ppm (B2-20), respectively
' Seventeen samples were analyzed for total lead Lead was detected only in three samples
at concentrations to 16 8 ppm The analytical results are summarized in Table 3 The
laboratory reports and chain-of-custody are included in Appendix C
' 4.4 Relative Groundwater Elevation and Gradient
' The relative elevation of the groundwater in each well was calculated by subtracting
groundwater depth from the surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) The groundwater gradient
was calculated to be 0.002 ft/ft directed N 77° E (Figure 5)
' 4.5 Analytical Results of Groundwater Samples
' TPH as gasoline was detected in groundwater samples from MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 at
concentrations of 150 AgIL (parts per billion, ppb), 2,600 ppb and 11,000 ppb, respectively
BTE&X were detected in each well at concentrations up to 2,200 ppb (benzene, MW-3). No
lead was detected in any of the water samples The analytical results of all groundwater
samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory reports and chains-of-custody are
included in Appendix C
TABLE 2
ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF WATER SAMPLES
Top Filling Station
101 S.
