John Alaniz [EH]
From: Jordan Bottorff <jbottorff@pacificethanol.com>
Sent: Thursday, April 4, 2019 12:35 PM
To: John Alaniz [EH]
Subject: RE: Return to Compliance HW SJ EHD
Attachments: All Valley Disposal Invoice-Waste Oil Pick up 12.10.18.pdf
Hey John,
So to start-
The 5 Gallon plastic bucket with used lubricant was put into our waste oil tank with our other waste lubricants, and oils.
That was emptied on 12/10/18 as noted in the attached Invoice (waste oil pickup). The invoice I had was the one
submitted to our accounting department, I did not have a copy of the one I signed. I did get it from all valley disposal. It
is attached. I do have the other ones from other pickups, I somehow was only missing that one. I believe there was edits
made to it that needed to be incorporated into the invoice we were sent for payment, so I believe that's why I didn't
have a copy of it. I believe all the information required is on the bottom half of that form.
As for the second comment below, I re-read my response and I incorrectly noted universal waste. That was not the right
terminology for the response. The items in the bucket that had not been in contact with oil were disposed as regular
trash in our normal trash dumpster. We do not have a special universal dumpster(that would not exist I believe). This
was a simply wording mistake. The hazardous waste (in contact with oil) was managed as oily debris.
Forklift Waste- per our discussion I understand that I need to be looking at the receipt Central Valley lift provides us to
make sure that no other materials are listed on there. If they are, I need to make sure they are being handled and
transported properly. We have not had anything other than used oil, or oil filters leave the site with Central Valley lift,
but will be aware of the possibility in the future.
Hopefully that clears all this up, but if you have any additional questions or concerns, shoot me an email or give me a
call.
Thanks!!
Jordan Bottorff
EH&S Manager
Pacific Ethanol, Inc. 1 3028 Navy Dr. Stockton, CAI 95206
Office: 209.8S1.40771 Mobile: 510.904.7314 I Fax: 209.235.0376 jbottorff@pacificethanol.com
From:John Alaniz [EH] [mailto:jalanizl@sjcehd.com]
Sent:Thursday, April 4, 2019 8:58 AM
To:Jordan Bottorff<jbottorff@pacificethanol.com>
Subject: Return to Compliance HW SJ EHD
EXTERNAL EMAIL: Be cautious of incorrect email addresses and when opening attachments and links.
Hi Jordan,
