The open shampoo bottle was next to three more capped bottles the <br /> shampoo,which appeared to have spillage on them from the open bottle of shampoo(IMG 3901). The spillage was <br /> also found on a cardboard box containing three containers of laundry detergent capsules(IMG 3902).Thomas <br /> Hunter, an Executive Team Leader,could not verify how long the spillage was sitting there, and stated he would <br /> have an employee clean-up the spillage and open bottle of shampoo and manage them as hazardous waste. <br /> -The following was found sitting on a PVC pipe that appeared to be mounted to a wall near the trash compactor in <br /> the back of the facility: <br /> -A broken tube of Loreal Ever Creme Deep Nourishing Conditioner.The conditioner inside the tube was visible <br /> where the tube was broken(IMG 3992-3993). <br /> -A bottle of Up& Up Lavender Scent Concentrated Low-Splash Bleach was found with black staining on the <br /> outside of the bottle(IMG 3992). <br /> According to Thomas Hunter, an Executive Team Leader,the conditioner and the bleach were placed on the PVC <br /> pipe the day of the inspection and he stated that items placed in this area are removed, processed, and placed in <br /> the hazardous waste storage area, if applicable, at the end of each day. <br /> All the items listed above were identified as hazardous waste by Danielle Heuston and Thomas Hunter, Executive <br /> Team Leaders, at the time of inspection. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire,explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air,soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> Immediately clean-up any leaks and staining and prevent any potential immediate leaks and manage according to <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
