Landowner hereby acknowledges that Company has agreed to share <br />the cost of the Work, as set forth above,;'�solely for the <br />purpose of expediting the response to?thefrequest of PHS/EHD <br />and that Company has neither selectedl'or employed Consultant <br />to perform such Work. Moreover, except to the extent that <br />Company has agreed to reimburse Landowners; for the costs of <br />such Work, Company assumes no responsibility or liability <br />either to PHS/EHD or Landowner for such Work nor for any subse- <br />quent required monitoring, reportingor 'remediation at the <br />site.
