Clean water or a <br /> portable eye wash will be available for this purpose Instruction will also be provided to wash any skin <br /> areas with soap and water if direct contact with contaminants has occurred <br /> During normal field activities,work clothes may become wet. If a field team member's clothing becomes <br /> saturated with an obviously contaminated liquid/sludge, the possibility for dermal exposure to <br />' contaminants may exist Under these circumstances, that field team member will change out of the <br /> contaminated clothing into clean clothing of the proper level of protection. <br /> 11.2 Fire and Ex losion Hazards <br /> LFires are of particular concern during this investigation due to the possibility of encountering flammable <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon liquid or vapors. An adequate multi-purpose (A,B,C) fire extinguisher will be <br /> located on-site at all times <br />' The local fire department will be notified by SSB Environmental Consultants, Inc., representative of the <br /> location and anticipated activities in order to provide a more timely response in the event of an <br /> emergency.
