10.0 CCR Title 22. §66265,122,WL——Ancillary Equipment Protection
(q) Ancillary equipment shall be supported and protected against physical damage and excessive stress due
to settlement, vibration, expansion orcontraction.
Piping is constructed of 3/4 inch reinforced rubber hose and 3/ & 1 inch metal piping with
a gravity system transfer waste oil to the tank. The piping is satisfactorily connected to
structural supports with the use of clamps. The piping and pneumatic pump is designed to
be compatible with the materials they transfer. Structurally, the ancillary equipment should
not be subject to damage during a moderate seismicevent.
11.0 CCR Title 22. §66265.192 (f)— Corrosion Protection
0 The owner or operator shall provide the type and degree of corrosion protection
necessary, based on the information provided under subsection (a)(3) of this section, to
ensure the integrity of the tank system during use of the tank system. The installation of a
corrosion protection system that is field fabricated shall be supervised by an independent
corrosion expert to ensure proper installation.
The tank is constructed of steel with a corrosion resistant coating. The tank is designed to
be compatible with the materials contained in the tank. The tank containment contains 110%
of the volume of the inner tanks and is compatible with the pH of the liquids stored.
The condition of the steel should be inspected to ensure there is no significant rusting.
Should the signs of corrosion be identified we recommend application of a corrosion
inhibitor coating or repair depending on the severity of the rusting.
12.0 CCR Title 22. §66265.192 (a) —Written Certification Statement
(g) The owner or operator shall obtain and keep on file at the facility written statements by
those persons required to certify the design of the tank system and supervise the installation
of the tank system in accordance with the requirements of subsections (b) through (t) of this
section to attest that the tank system was properly designed and installed and that repairs,
pursuant to subsection (b) and(d) of this section were performed. These written statements
shall also include the certification statement as required in section 66270.11(d) of this
division.
This document satisfies the "Written Certification Statement Requirement".
