June 7, 1988 AGS Job No. 038033--1
Marlowe Properties, Stockton, California
will be located at least 10 feet from the property line and 50
feet from sanitary sewer lines.
SOIL BORINGS
Applied Geosystems will contact Underground Services Alert to
delineate public utility lines at the site before we begin
4` drilling. Marlowe Properties will have a representative present
onsite to advise or confirm the location of soil borings with
respect to underground utilities and other structures.
The soil borings will be drilled using 8- to 10-inch-diameter,
continuous-flight, hollow-stem augers and a Mobile B-61, or
similar, drill rig. The auger flights will be steam cleaned
before use to minimize the possibility of downhole or cross-boring
contamination. The drilling will be perforrded under the guidance
of a field geologist, and the earth materials in the boring will
be logged as drilled.
During drilling, soil samples will be collected at 5-foot
intervals using a California-modified split-spoon sampler equipped
with cleaned brass sleeves. samples will be collected by
advancing the boring to a point immediately above the sampling
7
.4w,u/led C490SYSAMS
