Y
' 03 December 2004
AGE-NC Project No 95-0104
' were not detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the ground water samples collected from
the site Analytical results of the ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory
report(MAI Work Order Number 0409435),quality assurance/quality control(QA/QC)reports and
' chain of custody forms are presented in Appendix B GeoTracker confirmation pages of the
submitted laboratory electronic deliverable format (EDF) files are Included in Appendix C
4.0. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS
' Based on data collected during the September 2004 sampling event, AGE concludes
• The ground water flow direction on 27 September 2004 was Inferred to be towards the north
' under an average gradient of 0 007 foot/foot
• 1,2-DCA was detected in the water samples collected from MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 at
concentrations ranging from 0 83 pg/1(MW-4)to 13gg/1(MW-5) TPH-g,BTEX and other
fuel additives were not detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the ground water
samples collected from the site
• Concentrations of 1,2-DCA have decreased to non-detect In the samples collected from well
MW-1,Increased to 0 83 µg/1 in the samples collected from well MW-4,and remained stable
in samples from wells MW-5 and MW-6 Figure 4 Illustrates the approximate extent of 1,2-
DCA-impacted ground water The lateral extent of 1,2-DCA impacted ground water has been
generally defined The vertical extent has been defined
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
I Based on the g
findings of this investigation AGE recommends
• Further assessment of the 1,2-DCA Impacted-ground water
• Due to the proximity of the nearest receptor, preparation of an Interim remedial plan to
mitigate the 1,2-DCA-Impacted ground water
Initiation of a semi-annual monitoring program, the next monitoring event should be
performed in March 2004
I
•
Advanced GeoEnviro n mental,Inc
I
