CHRONOLOGY <br /> City of Manteca Corporation Yard <br /> 210 E. Wetmore Street <br /> Manteca CA 95336 <br /> 08/05/99 Three 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks were removed this date under <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit and <br /> inspection. Soil samples for laboratory analysis were collected from beneath <br /> the tanks and from the soil stockpile. Analytical results were positive for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE). <br /> 08/09/99 Unauthorized Release Report #99-U62 and Notification of Hazardous Waste <br /> Discharge #99-126 submitted this date! <br /> 10/22/99 Notice of Responsibility sent this date to the City of Manteca. <br /> 03/20/00 Three Geoprobe direct push soil borings (131-133) were installed this date; soil <br /> and grab groundwater samples were collected for laboratory analysis. One <br /> soil sample was reported positive for MtBE; all three groundwater samples <br /> were reported positive for Total petroleum hydrocarbons, MtBE and benzene. <br /> See Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report dated October 12, 2000, <br /> submitted by Advanced GeoEnvironmeintal, Inc. (AGE). <br /> i <br /> 04/05/01 Four groundwater monitoring wells (MW1-MW4) were installed this date <br /> (screened from 10 to 30 feet below surface); see AGE report Monitoring Well <br /> Installation and Quarterly Report — Second Quarter 2001 dated June 13, <br /> 2001. <br /> 04/13/01 Routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling began this date. <br /> 01/08/02 Three cone penetrometor test borings (CPT1-CPT3) were advanced, to <br /> greater than 100 feet below surface, onsite starting this date; see AGE report j <br /> Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Report — First Quarter 2002 dated <br /> March 29, 2002. <br /> 01/28/02 Three groundwater monitoring wells (MW5-MW7) were installed this date <br /> (screened from 10 to 30 feet below surface); see AGE report Monitoring Well <br /> Installation and Quarterly Report— First Quarter 2002 dated March 29, 2002. <br /> 02/19/03 Three groundwater monitoring wells (MW8-MW10) were installed this date <br /> (screened from 10 to 30 feet below surface); see AGE report Monitoring Well <br /> Installation Report and Quarterly Report—First Quarter 2003. <br /> 0913003 AGE conducted a sensitive receptor, survey in which they identified 23 <br /> monitoring wells located within 2,000-feet of the site. They also identified the <br /> City of Manteca Municipal well #13 located 2,000 feet south (cross-gradient) <br /> of the site. The site and the surrounding neighborhood are supplied city water. <br />
