' Chronology— City of Mant Corporation Yard Page 2
210 E. Wetmore
Manteca, CA
11/07/03 AGE submitted Corrective Action Plan, including a feasibility study, this date.
AGE recommended insitu ozone infusion as the most cost effective remedial
option for this site. The EHD concurred and requested submittal of a work
plan for system design and installation i
03/05/04 Date of theOzone Injection Pilot Study Work Plan that was submitted this date
by AGE. The EHD approved the Work Plan in correspondence dated March
10, 2004.
05/13/04 Installation of nine ozone injection wells began this date. See AGE report
Ozone Injection Pilot Test Report dated August 31, 2004. The ozone
distribution system was installed onsite on July 7, 2004; the system was
placed in operation on August 31, 2004 and operated until June 26, 2007,
06/17/08 Closure Summary Report submitted this date by AGE. Quarterly groundwater
monitoring and sampling has been corjducted since April 13, 2001; analytical
results have been reported as non-detect in all wells for at least the past four
quarters. The ozone system has been off for a year and no rebound of
contaminant concentrations in the groundwater has been observed. Low
concentrations of contamination were detected in the soil samples that are
located below groundwater and therefore subject to the ozone remediation.
AGE compared site data to the SI=B-RWQCB ESL guidance documents and
determined the site poses no threat from soil vapor intrusion; closest structure
to the former tank pit area is 90 feet away.
