Box 4025 1001 "I" Street Sacramento, CA 95812-4025 Subject: Analytical Results for Soil Samples (DD, EE, and FF) Collected from Small Waste Disposal Area, Tracy Tire Fire Site, San Joaquin County, California Dear Mr. Thalhamer: This letter provides a summary of the analytical results for samples collected at the Tracy Tire Fire Site on April 14, 2003, under the guidance of the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) project engineer. Field sampling was conducted in accordance with the April 21, 2003 "Site Sampling Plan for Small Waste Disposal Areas, Soil Sampling and Characterization, Tracy Tire Fire Site," prepared by LFR for the CIWMB. A summary report documenting the methods, procedures, locations, and results will be provided under separate cover. Nine samples were collected from three sampling locations (DD, EE, and FF) as listed in Table 1, within an approximately 2,500 square foot area. As seen in Table 1, the three sampling locations each contain three discrete sampling depths (ground surface, 10-inches below ground surface [bgs], and 20-inches bgs).
