Contaminated Water <br /> During the November 15, 2000 site visit, no appreciable standing water was <br /> observed around the site. Run-off water from contaminated area collected in the <br /> lined sump will be pumped into 20,000 gal. baker tanks and taken off site to <br /> proper disposal sites. <br /> X. Miscellaneous Work Areas <br /> A six shower trailer will be set up just outside of the exclusion zone for everyone <br /> leaving this area. Eating of lunch will take place away from the exclusion zones, <br /> a staging area with comfort trailer and office will be set up at the site for safe <br /> parking, loading and unloading of materials, showers, and rest breaks for <br /> personnel. <br /> Sanitary facilities, (including a hand wash station/showers), will be provided at <br /> the staging areas for personal hygiene. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> 1. Site Descriptions <br /> The Tracy Tire Fire Site is located in the city of Tracy. The CIWMB has identified <br /> various forms of debris including tires, cans, oil filters, and scrap metal items. <br /> 2. Ingress/Egress <br /> For the suppression work , access will be from the existing gate off of MacArthur <br /> Road. Trucks will be staged in a designated loading area on site. Safety cones <br /> shall be placed in the staging area to control site traffic. <br />
