No Impact. The project site has been used for mining and industrial purposes. The <br /> approximately 50 acre site is currently a grassy gravel pit. There is no Prime Farmland, <br /> Unique Farmland, or Farmland of Statewide Importance at the project site (California <br /> Department of Conservation 2003 and Funderberg 2003). <br /> b. Conflict with existing zoning or agriculture use, or Williamson Act contract. <br /> No Impact. The project site is currently zoned for agricultural use (AG-40), but is not used <br /> for agricultural purposes(California Department of Conservation 2003 and Funderberg <br /> 2003). <br /> The activities proposed for this site will not conflict with this current zoning designation. <br /> There are no Williamson Act contracts on the land (Funderberg 2003 and SJCC 2000). <br /> C. Involve other changes in the existing environment which, due to their location or nature, <br /> could result in conversion of Farmland, to non-agricultural uses. <br /> No Impact. Atmospheric conditions such as wind speed, <br /> wind direction, and air temperature gradients interact with the physical features of the <br /> landscape to determine the movement and dispersal of air pollutants. <br /> The project area is located in the western portion of the San Joaquin Valley. The project area <br /> is bordered on the western side by the Altamont Hills (several miles to the west).
