sb <br /> -] m4- All land clearing, grubbing, scraping, excavation, land leveling and grading activities <br /> shall be effectively controlled of fugitive dust emissions utilizing application of water or <br /> by presoaking. <br /> When materials are transported off-site, all material shall be covered, effectively wetted <br /> to limit visible dust emissions. <br /> 'J <br /> All operations shall limit or expeditiously remove the accumulation of mud or dirt from <br /> adjacent public streets at least once a month when operations are occurring. (The use <br /> of dry rotary brushes is expressly prohibited except where preceded or accompanied by <br /> sufficient wetting to limit the visible dust emissions.) (Use of blower devices is <br /> expressly forbidden.) <br /> 4- Following the addition of materials to, or the removal of materials from, the surface of <br /> _) segregated debris piles, debris piles shall be effectively stabilized of fugitive dust <br /> } emissions by utilizing sufficient water or chemical stabilizer/suppressant. <br /> Limit traffic speeds on unpaved roads to 15 mph; and <br /> } To the extent feasible, limit area subject to excavation, grading, and other construction <br /> activity at any one time. <br /> 5.4 Work Zones <br /> i <br /> Based on the work activities described in the work plan (prepared by Sukut), these <br /> zones are defined as follows: <br /> Work Zones <br /> ' Entry station where medical station, supplies, administrative <br /> Support Zone functions, and eQui ment are located to support operations. <br /> Area immediately surrounding exclusion zones, at points <br /> Contamination where personnel begin to decontaminate and/or evacuate. <br /> Reduction Zone includes truck decontamination station. <br /> All areas where disturbance of the contaminated soil takes <br /> } Exclusion Zone place li.e., excavating and stockpiling]. Includes weigh station <br /> } and debris pile excavation. <br /> 5.4.1 Support Zone <br /> r The Support Zone is located in the Northeast corner of the site [above the ridge] and is <br /> defined as the location of the command post, medical station, eQuipment supply centers <br />- i and administrative functions needed to keep the operations in the exclusion and <br /> contamination reduction zones running smoothly.
