Altered tires (a Class II designated waste) were removed from the Site <br /> (Photograph 17). A total of 3,057 tons of altered tires were removed from the Site <br /> between November 2003 and June 2004 and these wastes were transported to Forward <br /> Landfill (a licensed Class II landfill) located in Stockton, California, for disposal. Non- <br /> Hazardous Waste Manifests provided by Forward Landfill were utilized during the <br /> transportation and disposal of the Class II waste. Manifests were signed by the SCI <br /> project manager and provided to each waste transporter to accompany the wastes to <br /> disposal at Forward Landfill. Waste transport and disposal documentation for the <br /> altered tire waste are presented <br /> digitally in Appendix E. <br /> Class I. RCRA Class I and non- <br /> RCRA Class I tire fire-related <br /> wastes and contaminated soils were <br /> removed from the Site. A total of <br /> 173,482 tons of Class I waste was <br /> removed from the Site between r <br /> November 2003 and November 2004 <br /> and these wastes were transported to <br /> Chemical Waste Management's <br /> Kettleman Hills Landfill (a licensed <br /> Class I landfill), located in <br /> Kettleman City, California <br /> (Kettleman Hills Landfill) for Photograph 17 <br /> disposal. Waste transport and Loading of altered tires for transport to <br /> disposal documentation for the Class licensed Class H landfill <br /> I waste is presented digitally in <br /> Appendix E. <br /> California Hazardous Waste Manifests were used to track the transportation and <br /> disposal of the Class I wastes.
