1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> The enclosed drawings and specifications contain information for the construction and <br /> installation of a C-Sparge system. The scope of work requires contractor to connect <br /> five existing C-Sparge wells (IW-1 through IW-5) to a C-Sparge panel using 3!$ inches <br /> (outer diameter) Teflon tubing. Contractor will be solely responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all <br /> safety precautions, in compliance with OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations. All <br /> injuries related to the construction project and damaged to equipment or facilities must <br /> be reported to the Project Manager or Project Engineer the day of the incident (within 8- <br /> hours). <br /> 2. Contractor is responsible for preparing and enforcing a Site Safety Plan (SSP) <br /> suitable for activities conducted under this scope of work. <br /> 3. To assist in evaluating health effects of ozone, material safety data sheet (MSDS)for <br /> ozone is presented in Appendix A. <br /> 3.0 SPECIFICAT90M <br /> 3.1 General <br /> 1. The selected contractor is required to conduct a pre-construction meeting with the <br /> consultant before construction begins. <br /> 2. The selected contractor shall verify all dimensions and all conditions before starting <br /> work. The consultant's Project Manager or Project Engineer shall be notified of any site <br /> discrepancies. <br /> 3. All material used for the construction of this system shall be new unless otherwise <br /> noted and in working order. <br /> 4. All necessary construction permits and inspections shall be obtained and paid for by <br /> the contractor. These permits may include the follovving permits: building, electrical, <br /> mechanical, and civil construction (not limited to). <br />
