Wilson Way, Stockton.
serviced to remove detectable petroleum contaminants per the Operations Plan.
Water samples for bacteria and petroleum contaminants are to be collected,
analyzed by a certified laboratory, and submitted to EHD for approval to place
the GAC treatment system back online.
l
EHD has been patient with the installation and operation of the Frontier Motel water
treatment system so far. The multiple modifications to the system have been tolerated
by EHD with the hope that this 'temporary' system would suffice until a permanent
approved water supply could be provided. But over the months with no progress
towards connecting to an approved water supply, with monitoring results of treated
water containing levels of 1-2, DCA above the MCL, and with the GAC media exhausted
and replaced twice after eight months of'operations, EHD must ensure progress is
made to a permanent means to provide water that meets SDWA with no further delays.
I
As responsible parties you must take immediate action to protect innocent neighbors
from your petroleum release.
I
Concerns and questions regarding requirements, procedures, and status of this impact
should be directed to Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454 or Adrienne Ellsaesser at (209)
468-0343.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Michael J.
