Based on environmental work performed.in the _vicinity, .the depth.to' <br /> groundwater is reportedly 20 feet below grade. <br /> PROPOSED WORK <br /> .The following proposed scope of work will be conducled according to the Aegis standard <br /> operating procedures included in Appendix A: <br /> Drill, log, and sample one soil boring to 30 feet below grade (or 10 feet below first j <br /> groundwater) at the location shown on Figure 1. <br /> i <br /> • Collect soil samples every 5 feet and at significant lithology changes, and screen <br /> the soil on site for petroleum hydrocarbons Using a photoionization detector.. <br /> • Submit selected soil samples to a state-certified analytical laboratory to 'be, <br /> analyzed for TPH, as gasoline, diesel and BTFEX <br /> • Convert the soil boring to a 2-inch-diameter, -foot-deep groundwater monitoring <br /> well (MW-1). Develop, purge, and collect a C roundwater sample from the newly- <br /> installed well. <br /> • Submit the water sample to a state-certified ar alytical laboratory to be analyzed for <br /> TPH, as gasoline, diesel and BTEX. <br /> • Prepare a factual report summarizing the results of the investigation. <br /> SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN ; <br /> A site health and safety plan (SHSP) has been prepE red and will be on site during all field <br /> activities.
