B-5 A confirmation sample from this well has not yet been collected since there was an eviction process taking place It is our understanding that this property is condemned, and therefor, anybody living at the property will be evicted The San Joaquin County Public Health Services has specifically requested that an alternative water source not be provided to anyone that may be living on the property Water from this well is extracted using a gasoline powered pump Due t o the design of the pump, it is possible that any contamination in this well may be a result of the fueling or operation of this pump 5 2 WELLS WITH 1,2-DCA CONCENTRATIONS OVER DHS MCLs The following three wells were sampled and had 1,2-DCA concentrations exceeding DHS MCLS for drinking water 17-117--South Airport Way Property/Well Owner Sid Guevera Tenant Sid Guevera • On September 1, 2000, ASE collected groundwater samples from the domestic well located at 17717 South Airport Way in Manteca, California The samples contained 0 93 ppb 1,2-DCA A confirmation groundwater sample collected on September 7, 2000 contained 0 83 ppb 1,2-DCA The 1,2-DCA concentration detected on both occasions exceeded the DHS MCL for drinking water The laboratory reports are presented as Appendix B-6 495 Airl2ort Way Property/Well Owner Andrew Rossi Tenant Andrew Rossi On September 1, 2000, ASE collected groundwater samples from the domestic well located at 495 Airport Way in Manteca, California The groundwater samples contained 0 79 ppb 1,2-DCA and 0 51 ppb 1,2-DCP A confirmation groundwater sample collected on September 7, 2000 contained 066 ppb 1,2-DCA but did not contain a detectable concentration of 1,2-DCP The 1,2-DCA concentration detected on both occasions exceeded the DHS MCL for drinking water The laboratory . reports are presented as Appendix B-7 Frank's One Stop Area Well Sampling Report — October 2000 -5-
