3.0 QUARTERLY SAMPLING OF DRINKING WATER WELL <br /> 3.1 Introduction <br /> A program of quarterly sampling for the drinking water well located at Franks One Stop was <br /> implemented on January 15, 1998 The well has been sampled quarterly since that date <br /> 3.2 Sampling Procedure <br /> The procedure for sampling the well has been consistent for each sampling period Prior to <br /> sampling, the well pump has been allowed to run for a few minutes and water was purged from <br /> the sample tap After about 3 to 4 minutes, the flowrate from the sample tap was reduced and <br /> water was collected directly from the sample tap into two 40-m1 VOA's The samples were <br /> labeled, stored on ice and delivered under chain of custody to FGL Analytical laboratory in <br /> Stockton, California for analysis of Organic Chemicals, using EPA method 524 2 In addition, <br /> a sample was collected on April 13, 1998 for analysis of nitrate (required annually) and nitrite <br /> (required every three years) <br /> 3.3 Analytical Results <br /> E A summaryof the analytical results is resented in Table I Copies f all h <br /> Y P p o a the analytical data <br /> sheets from FGL Analytical Lab are presented in Appendix A The results have been fairly <br /> consistent for each sampling period Only one parameter (1,2-Dichloropropane) has been reported <br /> above the reporting limit The reported levels of 1,2-Dichloropropane have been between 1 7 and <br /> 2 4 lug (ppb) <br /> E <br /> I <br /> E <br /> Remedy, Inc, Report of Quarterly Sampling of Drinking Water Well August 28, 1998 <br /> Frank'v One,Stop 2072 W Yosemite Avenue Manteca, CA 015Q398 RPT <br /> 4 <br /> E <br />
