County PHS-El-ED will be notified of each sampling date and time in the <br /> event they wish to be present for the sampling activities <br /> TASK 3 -COLLECT GROUNDWATER SAMPLES FROM EACH WELL <br /> ASE will collect the samples using the following procedures Any holding <br /> tank will be drained and the well pump will be allowed to run for 1 5 <br /> minutes prior to sampling Water samples will be collected as close to the <br /> pump as possible (at any sampling port prior to a holding tank if <br /> available) Groundwater samples will be contained in 40-m1 glass volatile <br /> organic analysis (VOA) vials, pre-preserved with hydrochloric acid, and <br /> sealed without headspace All samples will be labeled with the site <br /> location, sample designation, date and time the samples were collected, <br /> and the initials of the person collecting the samples The samples will be <br /> placed on ice for transport to the analytical laboratory under chain o f <br /> custody <br /> ASE will also note the type of piping between the well and holding tank in <br /> the event that a sampling port needs to be installed in the future <br /> TASK 4 -ANALYZE THE GROUNDWATER SAMPLES <br /> Each groundwater sample will be analyzed for TPH-G, BTEX, fuel <br /> oxygenates, alcohol and HVOCs by EPA Method 8260 and TPH-D by EPA <br /> Method 8015 <br /> TASK 5 -PREPARE REPORTS FOR AGENCIES AND PROPERTY OWNERS <br /> ASE will prepare a comprehensive report for the San Joaquin County PHS- <br /> EHD and RWQCB This report will include results from all of the wells <br /> presented in tabulated form In addition, each property owner will b e <br /> provided with a copy of the analytical results for their property along with <br /> a cover letter stating whether any of the analytical results exceed DHS <br /> MCLS for drinking water The letter will also direct the property owner to <br /> contact the San Joaquin County PHS-EHD if they have any questions or <br /> concerns regarding the results <br /> Frank's One Stop Workplan - June 2000 <br /> -10- <br />
