M m <br /> D Table 2-2 <br /> Summary of Impacts and Mitigation Measures <br /> W Significance Significance <br /> 3 Impacts Before Mitigation Measures After <br /> Mitigation Mitigation <br /> violation,expose sensitive receptors to substantial pollutant with the following,as required by law: <br /> concentrations,especially considering the nonattainment status ► Submit an Air Impact Assessment(AIA)application to <br /> of San Joaquin County,and/or conflict with air quality planning SJVAPCD.The AIA application will be submitted on a <br /> efforts.As a result,this impact would be a significant. form provided by the SJVAPCD and contain,but not limited <br /> to,the applicant's name and address,detailed project <br /> description,on-site emission reduction checklist,monitoring <br /> and reporting schedule,and an AIA.The AIA shall quantify <br /> construction NOx and PM,o emissions associated with the <br /> project.(PM,o emissions would be less than 2 tpy;therefore, <br /> it may be acceptable to limit the AIA analysis to NOx <br /> emissions.)This will include the estimated construction <br /> baseline emissions,and the mitigated emissions for each <br /> applicable pollutant for the development project,or each <br /> phase thereof,and shall quantify the off-site fee,if <br /> applicable. <br /> o General mitigation requirements,as contained in the ISR <br /> rule,include the following: <br /> • Exhaust emissions for construction equipment greater <br /> than 50 horsepower used or associated with the project <br /> will be reduced by 20%of the total NOx and by 45%of <br /> the total PM,o exhaust emissions from the statewide <br /> average as estimated by ARB. <br /> p Consider using less polluting construction equipment, <br /> v which can be achieved by utilizing add-on controls, <br /> cleaner fuels,or newer lower emitting equipment. <br /> o Additional strategies for reducing construction <br /> `�° emissions may include,but are not limited to: <br /> - Providing commercial electric power to the project <br /> W <br /> site in adequate capacity to avoid or minimize the <br /> use of portable electric generators and the <br /> equipment; <br /> - Substitution of electric-powered equipment for <br /> v diesel engine driven equipment;and <br /> � v <br /> - Limiting the hours of operation of heavy duty <br /> Cn <br /> M equipment and/or the amount of equipment in use <br /> CO �o <br /> LTS=Less than Significant S=Significant PS=Potentially Significant SU=Significant and Unavoidable <br />
