INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Terry McDonald of Five Star Marina, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br /> (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, <br /> California(site). The scope of work included performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring <br /> event and preparation of this report. The location of the site and the-surrounding area is illustrated <br /> on Figure 1; structures, former underground storage tank (UST).locations, and soil boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> I <br /> j In accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental HealthDepartment (SJCEHD) email <br /> directive, dated August 2008, the former Five Star Marina project,was divided into two project <br /> investigations to individually assess the eastern and western unauthorized tank releases located at <br /> the site. <br /> sk <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations andilmonitoring events are provided in <br /> Appendix A. Results of previous ground water monitoring events are included in the tables of this <br /> report. <br /> Ground water monitoring was performed in accordance with Appendix A -Reports, Tri-Regional <br /> Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground <br /> Storage Tanks,dated 16 April 2004,prepared by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> { <br /> Board. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> On 10 October 2008,the quarterly ground water monitoring event was conducted utilizing site wells <br /> MW-I through MW-4; monitoring was performed in accordance with AGE's standard monitoring <br /> and sampling procedures,provided in Appendix B. Field data and logs are provided in Appendix C. <br /> No exceptions to AGE's standard procedures were noted. <br /> 3.0. FINDINGS <br /> i <br /> Ground water elevation, flow direction, and gradient were determined from field data collected on <br /> 10 October 2008; contaminant impact to ground water was quantified by the laboratory analytical <br /> data. Findings are as follows: <br /> • Depths to ground water ranged from 8.34 feet (MW-2) below the tops of the well casings <br /> (btoc) to 9.23 feet(MW-3)btoc (Table 1).
