I
09 January 2009
AGE-NC Project No. 08-1641
Page 2 of 3 I
:I
0.26 feet (MW-3) above mean sea level (MSL) to 0.45 feet (MW-2) above MSL. Ground
water at the site was inferred to be flowing generally northeast, under a hydraulic gradient
E of approximately 0.002 feet/feet (ft/ft). Figure 3 illustrates contoured ground water
elevations as measured on 10 October 2008. !
`i
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) were detected in the ground
water sample collected from well MW-1 at a concentration'of 2,000 micrograms per liter
(µg/1). No additional analytes were reported at or above laboratory detection limits in the
ground water samples analyzed.
f I
Analytical results of water samples collected in October 2008 are summarized in Table 2. The
j laboratory report(CTEL Lab Project.No.CT214-0810088),quality assurance/quality control report,
and chain-of-custody form are included in Appendix D. Electronic deliverable format(EDF) files
and depth-to-water data were uploaded to the State GeoTracker database;confirmation numbers are
9502239406 and 5069855213.
4.0. CONCLUSIONS
Based upon the results of the ground water monitoring, AGE presents the following conclusions:
l '
i0 Concentrations of TPH-g reported in well MW-1 are generally declining overtime as shown
in a graph depicting trends in TPH-g concentrations in the well MW-1 provided in
Appendix E.
.E
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the conclusions presented in this report, AGE.recommends:
• Continuation of minimal quarterly ground water ,monitoring. The first quarter 2009
{ monitoring event is.scheduled for January 2009.
• Reduced ground water sampling schedule to quarterly sampling of wells MW-1 and MW-3;
with annual ground water sampling of all other monitoring wells. Continue ground water
measurements of all monitoring wells each quarter. f
I
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
