r <br /> 26 March 2012 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 08-1642 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> 25 pounds per square inch, for 10 minutes, to allow grout to enter the sand pack interval. <br /> Following pressurization, the upper three feet of each well was destroyed by over-drilling <br /> using hollow stem augers. Well MW-12 was hand dug to three feet bsg, removing the <br /> remnant Portland cement and bentonite from installation. After removal, the blank well <br /> casing and screen were removed intact. Following casing removal, the borehole was filled <br /> from bottom to top with Portland cement. Once all the above wells were destroyed, each <br /> well box was removed and the surface was finished with a rapid setting concrete mixture; <br /> the surface at well MW-6 was finished with native soil. <br /> Ground water monitoring MW-8, MW-10 and MVV-13 were removed by over-drilling the <br /> wells to total depths of 21 feet bsg (MW-8 and W-10) and 35 feet bsg (MW-13) with <br /> 8.5-inch diameter hollow stem augers. Following o erdriIling each well was grouted to near <br /> surface using a Portland cement grout mixture,wel boxes were removed and the surfaces <br /> at each location were completed with a rapid setti g concrete mixture. <br /> On 08 March 2012, three 55-gallon drums filled with soil cuttings and debris and two <br /> 55-gallon drums filled with purged water generatec during previous monitoring events and <br /> extruded drilling water were removed from the si a by Instrat Incorporated of Rio Vista, <br /> California.
