The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage container was observed on-site: <br /> One 55-gallon container of used oil, 80%full, was observed with no cap and no metal ring to secure the lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage,except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 602 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(B)Stored satellite accumulated waste on site longer than one year or 180 days after fill date. <br /> OBSERVATION: A satellite hazardous waste container was observed stored on-site for too many days. The <br /> following container were observed: <br /> One 55-gallon container of used oil, 80%full,with an accumulation start date of 3-23-2016. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Satellite accumulated waste shall not be stored on site for more than 180 days after the <br /> container was filled, or a total of one year,whichever comes first. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste in compliance with Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations.
