26 May 1998 <br /> ' AGE-NC Protect No 96-0266 <br /> ' Page 7 of 9 <br /> West UST location Contoured ground water elevations are shown in Figure 3 <br /> 43 HYDROCARBON-IMPACTED SOIL <br /> The results of laboratory analysis of soil samples collected at the site over the last quarter are as <br /> follows <br /> • TPH-g was detected in samples P21-10, collected from west of the former dispenser at a <br /> ' concentration of 31 mg/kg (milligrams per kilograms or parts per million ppm) TPH-g was <br /> also detected in sample P21-15 at 240 ppm Detectable concentrations of THP-g were not <br /> present in sample P21-20, collected at the greatest depth advanced at P21 <br /> • TPH-g was detected in samples P22-10, collected from beneath the former dispenser at a <br /> concentration of 2,100 ppm TPH-g was also detected in sample P21-15 at 240 ppm <br /> ' Detectable concentrations of TPH-g were not present in sample P21-20, collected at the <br /> greatest depth advanced at probe boring P21 <br /> �• • Benzene was not detected in any of the probe boring soil samples collected from the site <br /> • Toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes were detected in soil samples at concentration as great <br /> ' as 0 65, 6 8 and 14 ppm, respectively <br /> • TPH-g was not detected at a depth of seven feet bsg in soil boring MW-1, established in the <br /> former western UST area However,TPH-g was detected in the sample collected from fifteen <br /> ' feet bsg (MW 1-15) at 3 9 ppm BTE&X compounds were detected at concentiations as high <br /> as 0 025 ppm (xylene) from the well installation borings Benzene was detected at-a <br /> maximum concentration of 0 007 ppm in samples collected from the well installation <br /> ' borings <br /> • MTBE was the only oxygenated compound detected at the site MTBE in soil was only <br /> ' detected in sample P22-10 at a concentration of 1,600 ppm <br /> ' Laboratory results of soil samples analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons area summarized in Table <br /> 1 The laboratory reports (MAI Laboratory ID 83611 to 83626, 84848 to 84856, 84858 and 84859), <br /> QA/QC reports and chains-of-custody are included to Appendix E <br /> 4 4 HYDROCARBON-IMPACTED GROUND WATER <br /> ' The results of laboratory analysis of ground water samples collected at the site over the last quarter <br /> are as follows <br /> 1 <br />
