CAME RIA <br /> September 12,2005 <br /> Ms Vicki McCartney <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton,California 95202-2708 <br /> Re Sensitive Receptor Survey Report <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1160 West Yosemite Avenue <br /> Manteca,California <br /> SAP Code 168801 ! y , <br /> Incident No 97422510 <br /> Dear Ms McCartney <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this sensitive receptor survey <br /> (SRS)on behalf of Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US(Shell)for the referenced <br /> site(Figure 1) <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> • The subject property is a former Shell service station located on the southeast corner of West <br /> Yosemite Avenue and South Union Road in a commercial area of Manteca,California(Figure 1) <br /> A historical site map indicates the former station layout included five dispenser islands, an <br /> underground fuel storage tank (UST) complex, and a waste oil UST All of the former Shell <br /> fueling equipment has been removed The former station layout is shown on Figure 2 After <br /> Shell ceased operations at this location, the property was divided into two parcels, which have <br /> subsequently been redeveloped as retail stores Ongoing groundwater monitoring is continuing <br /> on behalf of Shell <br /> SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> Cambria performed a sensitive receptor survey which included a review of the Department of <br /> Water Resources (DWR) records and a review of the State Water Resources Control Board <br /> GeoTracker database (GeoTracker) to identify any water wells located within yi-mile of the <br /> subject site Cambria also reviewed United States Geologic Survey (USGS) topographic and <br /> California State Automobile Association (CSAR) maps to identify surface water bodies within <br /> camisria V2-mile of the site Further, a 500-foot door-to-door survey was performed to identify any wells <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc that may not have been documented in DWR records or on the GeoTracker database, to identify <br /> any surface water bodies,to identify potential vapor receptors (i a basements),and to locate any <br /> 0 0 Perkins Shee/ <br /> noma,CA 95475 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
