' 3.2.1 Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE), Preliminary Investigation and
Evaluation Report(PIER), June 11, 1999
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE),of Stockton,California,advanced six soil borings(P-1 through P-6)at
the site to assess the extent of petroleum-impacted soil and groundwater. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as
gasoline and as diesel(TPHg and TPHd)were detected in soil samples at concentrations as high as 390
' milligrams per kilogram(mg/kg); dissolved TPHg and TPHd were detected in grab groundwater samples at
concentrations as high as 310,000 micrograms per liter(µg/L). Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes
(collectively BTEX)compounds were detected in soil and grab groundwater samples at concentrations as high as
' 51 mg/kg and 48,000 µg/L,respectively.Methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE),tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME)
and tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA)were detected in soil and grab groundwater samples at concentrations as high as
140 mg/kg and 310,000 µg/L, respectively.
' 3.2.2 AGE, Quarterly Report- Third Quarter 2000, September 20, 2000
AGE installed groundwater monitoring wells MW 1 through MW5 on-and off-site to assess the extent of
' petroleum-impacted soil and groundwater. TPHg and BTEX were detected in soil samples collected from borings
MW 1, MW2 and MW4 at concentrations as high as 85 and 6.7 mg/kg,respectively;MTBE and TAME were
detected in soil samples collected from MW 1,MW2 and MW3 at concentrations as high as 100 mg/kg.
