INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Phil Elder of Rainwater Car Wash,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared this Quarterly Report for 420 West Yosemite Avenue (the site), Manteca, California <br /> The report documents procedures and results for subsurface investigation conducted at the site <br /> during June and July 2000 The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring <br /> well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> ' The objective of the third quarter investigation was to characterize, assess and monitor <br /> concentrations of adsorbed and dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and ground water and to <br /> characterize ground water flow direction and gradient at the site This report was prepared in <br /> accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) and by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board- Central Valley Region(RWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> A summary of previous investigations conducted at the site was included in the Preliminary <br /> Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 11 June 1999, prepared by AGE <br /> ' ! The following is a brief summary of third quarter site assessment activities performed <br /> • 29 June and 07 July 2000 - Installation of fivc ground water monitoring wells (MW-1, <br /> MW-2, MW-3, MW-4 and MW-5) <br /> • 03 July 2000 - Well development activities at MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 and MW-4 <br /> ' • 11 July 2000 - Well development of MW-5, ground water monitoring and sampling at wells <br /> MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4 and MW-5 <br /> I� <br /> I <br /> 2 4 DRILLING PROCEDURES <br /> ' On 29 June and 07 July 2000, soil bona s/monit n1g ells MW- <br /> 1, MW-2, MW 3, MW-4 and <br /> MW-5 were installed on-site, on 11 July 2000, ground water monitoring and sampling here <br /> ' performed on each newly installed well Ground water monitoring procedures for the site were <br /> outlined in Work Plan Addendum - August 1999 dated 10 August 1999, prepared by AGF and <br /> ' appro�ed by the PHS-FHD by letter dated 25 August 1999 <br /> • <br /> td�nned C.c��F nv�i ui�rEteut ti AI <br /> 1 <br />
