SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the results of the previous investigations and UST removal activities, ground water at the <br /> site has been impacted The lateral and vertical extent of impacted ground water must be determined <br /> prior to the initiation of remediation The assessment activities will consist of the following tasks <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities, <br /> • CPT soil boring advancement, <br /> A Grab ground water sample collection and analysis, <br /> Report preparation <br /> 3 1 PERaIrIITTLNG AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTWITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the PHS-EHD In addition, an update to <br /> the health and safety plan presently on-file will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety <br /> and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U S Coast Guard and U S Environmental <br /> Protection Agency, 1985) Prior to mobilization,the monitoring well location will be clearly marked <br /> and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert <br /> 32 CPT DRILLING AND GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> 3 <br /> AGE proposes to drill five CPT soil bonngs at the site to define the vertical extent of hydrocarbon- <br /> impacted ground water Proposed CPT soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> Based on MTBE-impact encountered during the previous investigation, AGE proposes CPT soil <br /> bonngs in the following locations <br /> td�ur cid C.IUi ll�illFllllllll�dl ,RC <br />
