3.0 CLEANUP GOALS
The following COPCs have been identified for the Site based on the maximum detected
concentrations in soil exceeding proposed cleanup goals or based on those metals identified by
SJCEHD:
' ➢ Antimony
' ➢ Arsenic
➢ Copper
➢ Lead
➢ Tin
➢ Zinc
' USEPA 2016 RSLs are proposed for cleanup goals as modified, where applicable, by DTSC
Human Health Risk Assessment Note #3 (DTSC 2014), with the exception of arsenic. The
following USEPA/DTSC cleanup goals are proposed:
➢ Antimony 31 mg/kg
➢ Copper 3,100 mg/kg
' ➢ Lead 80 mg/kg
➢ Tin 47,000 mg/kg
➢ Zinc 23,000 mg/kg
' The DTSC has evaluated data from a large number of sites across California and determined that
12 mg/kg of arsenic may be a useful screening number for the Schools Program when evaluating
' arsenic as a COPC (DTSC, 2008). If the proposed arsenic confirmation data are equal to or less
than 12 mg/kg, then arsenic will not be considered a COPC.
1
' Al PACIFIC EDGE ENGMERING 6 SREW_Manteca_draft.docx
am' (949)470-1937;(949)470-0943(FAx)
