i <br /> Geofoglca(Tecfmics Inc. <br /> ' 2741 River Road <br /> Xodesto, Ca6xfoma 95351 <br /> (209)538-6424ITa.,C#538-5852 <br /> Report <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring <br /> V Quarter 2001 <br /> ' Aboveground Storage Tank Site <br /> Ted Peters Trucking Co , Inc. <br /> 1985 Yosemite Ave. <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> Project No 701 2 <br /> March 14, 2001 <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> The site is located on the northern side of Yosemite Road, within the city limits of Manteca, <br /> CA The property is owned by Ted Peters Trucking and operated as a commercial trucking <br /> facility Currently there are no underground storage tanks on the property <br /> ' On February 22, 1999, Ms Gail Wiggett of the CRWQCB-CVR and Mr Jeff Wong of the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division met with <br /> Ramona Booze of Ted Peters Trucking to inspect the facility at 1985 Yosemite Ave , <br /> Manteca Upon completion of their review, the CRWQCB requested that a work plan be <br /> prepared to describe the work to be performed to investigate the soil and groundwater of <br /> this property to determine if contamination may have been released from the operation of <br /> ' the aboveground diesel storage tanks and fuel islands and the truck washing area <br /> On July 26, 1999, Geological Technics Inc supervised the installation of three monitoring <br /> wells and one hydropunch boring around the former ASTs, dispensers and sump Field and <br /> laboratory results indicated the presence of petroleum hydrocaborns in the soil and <br /> groundwater around the former AST/pump island area <br /> ' On February 17, 2000, the second groundwater monitoring event was performed at the site <br /> The analytical results revealed the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons, BTEX and several <br /> volatile organic compounds in the groundwater samples collected from the three monitoring <br /> wells The domestic well showed the presence of TPH-G and methylene chloride The <br /> ' presence of methylene chloride could not be explained so the domestic well was re-sampled <br /> on April 13, 2000 Results for the re-sampling were non-detect for methylene chloride <br /> GTI submitted our September 14, 2000 "Work Plan Addendum, Additional Soil and <br /> Groundwater Investigation" in order to further define the extent of the contamination The <br /> work plan included provisions for additional monitoring wells and was conditionally <br /> ' approved by Mr Joseph Mello of the CRWQCB-CVR in his December 25, 2000 <br /> 1 <br />
