SS <br /> Work Plan for Re-excavation May 3, 1989 <br /> Former Texaco Service Station, Manteca, California AGS 38053-1 <br /> underground storage tanks. The approximates locations of the <br /> tanks and other pertinent site features are shown on the <br /> Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2) . Information provided by Mr. <br /> Brophy indicates that these four l,000-gallon gasoline tanks were <br /> used to store regular-leaded gasoline, regular-unleaded gasoline, <br /> super-unleaded gasoline, and diesel fuel. In addition, a 500- <br /> gallon tank located north of the abandoned station building was <br /> used to store waste oil. <br /> Previous Work <br /> On February 11, 1988, Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc. , of Lodi, California, <br /> removed the five underground storage tanks from the site. <br /> Canonie Environmental Services Corporation, of Stockton, <br /> x California, was onsite to collect soil samples from beneath each <br /> tank. According to the Canonie Environmental Services' <br /> . Laboratory Report No. 85-052-3580, samples were collected from <br /> approximate depths of 11 feet below the ground surface beneath <br /> the product tanks and 7 feet beneath the ground surface beneath <br /> the waste-oil tank. Results of laboratory analyses performed by <br /> Canonie Environmental Services indicated that there hydrocarbon <br /> was contamination in the soil approximately 11 feet below the <br /> - ground surface at concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> 3 <br />
